How to get to Weimar

The conference venue is the Bauhaus-Universität Weimar, located in the city of Weimar.

The most convenient way to reach Weimar is via Frankfurt Airport. From the airport, there are direct train connections to Weimar, departing from the airport’s own railway station. The journey takes approximately 2 hours and is typically the fastest and simplest option.

Alternatively, you can travel via Berlin, with train connections to Weimar taking around 3 hours. Another option is to arrive in Munich: from there, take a train from Munich city center to Erfurt (about 3 hours), and then transfer to a regional train to Weimar (around 15–20 minutes).

Once in Weimar, the university campus is centrally located and can be easily reached by public transport, taxi, or a short walk depending on your arrival point.
